Terms and Conditions of Equipment Hire and Insurance
1 - FILM DISTRICT does not provide equipment insurance.
2 - The Hirer is fully responsible to insure the equipment being hired and in the event any insurance proves not to be valid or that the hirer does not have insurance the hirer will be responsible for all charges for the replacement or repair of lost, stolen or damaged equipment.
3 - The equipment will be accompanied by a member of Film District staff. The equipment is not available for dry hire.
4 - Minimum Order Value for equipment hire is AED1.000/-
5 - Our standard rate for equipment rental covers a duration of 10 hours. However, should you require the equipment for longer periods, For every additional hour beyond the initial 10 hours, the rate will be calculated based on the hourly rate of the item. This hourly rate is determined by dividing the normal rate by 10 hours, ensuring a fair and transparent pricing structure.
6 - The Hirer’s original passport and amount of AED3,000/- must be deposited as a guarantee for the safe return of items hired. Upon the return of hired items, the hirer may collect his original passport and receive the deposit amount AED3,000/-.
However, the hirer must also ensure that the items are returned in the same condition that was given to him / her, otherwise the hirer may risk losing the deposit amount.
7 - The Hirer takes full responsibility for usage of equipment prior to attaining proper location and filming permits at his/her own risk. Should there arise a situation wherein the equipment is confiscated or a fine on Film District is issued due to the negligence of the Hirer to attain the necessary documents to conduct filming, the Hirer takes full responsibility to reimburse Film District for the losses in full within thirty days from concluding the shoot.
8 - Transportation and equipment handling charges are as follows:

- All Other Emirates AED300/-
